Data Deletion
wuppit (Digipren GmbH, Wolfgang Oswald) lets you request deletion of your data at any time – whether you want to remove your entire account or just some of your data. A login is not required for local deletion.
1. Deletion inside the app (instant, no waiting time)
Only local data (no account required)
- Open the app
- Profile → Settings
- Tap "Delete local data" and confirm
Instantly and irrevocably removes all data stored on the device: profile, cleanup history, badges and challenge progress.
Only the cloud backup (account stays intact)
- Open the app and sign in
- Profile → Backup
- Tap "Delete cloud backup" and confirm
Instantly removes your progress snapshot stored in the cloud at Supabase. Your account (email/Google/Apple sign-in) stays intact, local data on the device is unchanged.
Delete the account completely
- Open the app and sign in
- Profile → Backup
- Tap "Delete account" and confirm
Instantly and irrevocably removes: your profile, all local data, your cloud backup, all group memberships and your authentication account (email login or Google/Apple link). Recovery is not possible afterwards.
2. Deletion without app access (e.g. device no longer available)
Email us at info@digipren.com from the email address on file with wuppit, with the subject "Data deletion" and your account name (nickname). We verify your identity via the email address and fully delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.
3. What data gets deleted
- Profile data (nickname, optional location)
- Cleanup history (date, quantity, categories, terrain type)
- Badges and challenge progress
- Group memberships and group scoring data
- Authentication data (email/password hash or Google/Apple account link)
- Cloud backup snapshot at Supabase (EU, Frankfurt)
4. Data that cannot be individually attributed and deleted
If you had enabled the optional anonymous usage statistics, anonymous metrics (date, quantity, category, approximate region/coordinates) without name, email or account ID were transmitted after each cleanup. These entries are technically not linked to your account and therefore cannot be attributed to a person and deleted individually – but they also contain no personal data. See the Privacy Policy, section 4, for details.
There is no additional retention period beyond the 30 days mentioned above: once deletion is complete, all personal data is irrevocably removed.
